Laksha Graha ( The Wax Palace)

The hostility between the Kauravas and Pandavas kept growing. Duryodhan the oldest amongs the Kauravas feared that the citizens of Hastinapur would chose Yudhishtir  as their next king instead of him.

He devised yet another plot to get rid of the Pandavas. He gets the famous architect Purochan to build a palace out of jute and wax and other flammable materials which would easily burn to ground. He convinces his father to send the Pandavas to go enjoy their time in this palace. Pandavas come to know of this deceitful plan from their well wisher Vidura. They get the help of an expert miner to dig a tunnel from under the palace to the forest.

Before Purochan could execute his plan, the Pandavas themselves set fire to the palace and escape into the forests. The Kauravas are led to believe that the Pandavas perished in the fire.
Pandavas go to the city of Ekachakra and live with a Brahmin, themselves disguised as Brahmins for sometime.
